WHO IS BROWNFOX?
The Brownfox website (Website) is registered to Gayane Bagdasaryan, an independent type designer registered as an individual entrepreneur in Germany. We do business together with designer Vyacheslav Kirilenko.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT FROM YOU?
The information we collect includes:
– your full name or company name;
– physical or billing mail addresses;
– VAT number;
– email address;
– IP address;
– information about the actions performed by you on the Website;
– other information you provide to us when using the Website.

We may ask you to input a credit card number when making a purchase, however your card information is not held by us; it is directly transmitted to the payment service PayPal, protected with SSL encryption. We do not have access to your card details at any time.

HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM YOU?
You shall provide personal information in order to use the functionality of the Website. We obtain information about you when using the Website or processing the license purchase, or if you register to receive the newsletter.

HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION USED?
We use your information exclusively to ensure quality and accounting of services. We may use your information to:
– process your order: issue a tax invoice, license, and dispatch a package (if necessary) using the data that you have submitted;
– provide the facility to download the digital fonts we have licensed to you;
– contact you when it’s necessary;
– send you our irregular newsletter if you choose to be part of the mailing list.

I am legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil my obligations (for example the financial transactions records). We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as legally required by the German tax authorities.

WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION?
— Me, Gayane Bagdasaryan, and Vyacheslav Kirilenko;
— I am legally obliged to transfer some of your information to the local tax authorities, and my tax accountants (StB Dipl.-Kfm. Leo Ulrich) also have access to some of the billing details;
— Access to Personal data is available to third parties which are engaged in supporting services of the Website.

When we send our mailing list, we may use a third party service provider, to whom We pass relevant information that is necessary to deliver the service, and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes.

We never publish the Personal data in the public domain and do not release your information to third parties beyond the necessary scope of the Website service, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

You have the right, on the basis of a request addressed to us, to be informed about your Personal data, which is processed by us, to require clarification of Personal data or remove it from the information systems. However, access to Personal data is available to third parties which are engaged in supporting services of the Provider and / or performing the appropriate tasks (orders) of the Website.

HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SECURE?
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Any personal data, such as billing and shipping address, are encrypted and protected with 256 bit encryption on SSL. However, no method of Internet or electronic transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure or error-free, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

USE OF COOKIES
The Website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from the Website and stored on your device to allow the Website to recognize you when you visit. We use cookies to store your shopping cart content and to analyze usage of our platform (through cookies from Google Analytics). Cookies also collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual.

DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16?
We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. Children under 16 should not provide their personal information to us. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you provide us with personal information.

DO WE TRANSFER DATA ACROSS BORDERS?
The information which you provide to us may be transferred in any country where we engage service providers. By submitting your personal data, you’re agreeing to the transfer of information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules than in your country.
